Payroll v1.2

At Solución Factible®, we reiterate our commitment to providing you with the best service. Therefore, we inform you that: The Tax Administration Service (SAT) requests the validation of the "RFC" attribute of the "RECEPTOR" node according to the new version of the payroll addendum 1.2, effective January 2017.

The SAT's published Filling Guide mentions this rule:

It is very important that you take this validation into account, as the payroll receipt cannot be certified if your employee's RFC (Taxpayer Identification Number) is incorrect.

The SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) provides an RFC lookup tool so you can perform the validation before generating your payroll receipts.

Below is a summary of this tool.

Enter from your internet browser to https://portalsat.plataforma.sat.gob.mx/ConsultaRFC/

Enter the code to continue; it is important to take into account the numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters.

Enter the employee's (taxpayer's) RFC and click on the "Consultar RFC" button.

If the RFC key is correct, the system will notify you.

Similarly, if the RFC key is incorrect, you will be notified.

If you have the RFCs of your employees, you can also perform bulk validation of up to 5,000 RFCs using a TXT file containing the information for each RFC. To do this, click on the "Validación Masiva de RFCs" button and select the file with the data.

Download here an example of the TXT file to use.

Once you have selected the file with the data, click on the "Validar" button.

The tool will process the file and notify you when it is finished.

A TXT file with the validation result for each RFC will be downloaded to your computer.

The SAT defined a preliminary document of the Validation Matrix that must be used for the issuance of a payroll receipt v1.2, which you can download Here.
